This privacy policy applies to the CuePlayer app and related services provided by Plain Sight AS(org. 935 659 167), referred to as «we» or «Plain Sight».

2. What data we process

Depending on how you use CuePlayer, we may process:

• Account information: Name, email address, and password (when you create an account on plainsight.no).
• Subscription data: Selected plan, payment status, and billing information via our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers).
• Show data: Project names, cue lists, and metadata. Audio files are stored locally on your device. Cloud sync via Supabase is planned for paid plans.
• Technical information: Device type, operating system, and app version when you contact support.
• Website: Cookies via CookieYes and anonymised usage data.

3. Purpose and legal basis

We process personal data to:

• Provide and manage the CuePlayer service (contract, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Handle subscriptions and payments via our payment provider (contract, Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Enable cloud sync and team collaboration (contract, Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Provide customer support (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Comply with legal requirements, e.g. accounting (legal obligation, Art. 6(1)(c)).

4. On-device storage

CuePlayer stores audio files and project data locally on your device. This data is not sent to our servers unless you actively use cloud sync (available on paid plans). You can delete local data by removing the app or deleting projects in the app.

5. Third parties

We use the following third-party providers:

• Payment provider — payment processing and subscription management (acts as Merchant of Record).
• Supabase — account management and cloud sync (when enabled).
• CookieYes — cookies on the website.
• Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise — protection of the contact form on plainsight.no.

These process data on our behalf under data processing agreements where required.

6. Sharing and sale of data

We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with third parties necessary to deliver the service, or when required by law.

7. Retention

Account data is retained while you have an active account, plus up to 3 years after cancellation for support and accounting purposes. Invoice data is retained in accordance with Norwegian accounting law (5 years). Local app data is controlled by you on your device.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port your data, and to object to processing. You can delete your account at any time in the CuePlayer app (Settings → Delete account) or on the web app account page. If you are the only owner of a team workspace with other members, you must transfer ownership or remove members before deleting your account. You may also contact us at hello@plainsight.no. You may lodge a complaint with theNorwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).

9. Children

CuePlayer is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified by email or in the app. The latest version is always available on this page.
