Terms of Use

These terms («Terms») govern your use of the CuePlayer app and related services provided by Plain Sight AS (org. 935 659 167). By downloading, installing, or using CuePlayer, you accept these Terms.

1. The service

CuePlayer is a professional audio cue player for live use. The service is provided as software («the app») for iOS and Android, with optional subscriptions for extended features via plainsight.no.

2. Account and access

An account is required to use CuePlayer. You can create a free account in the app or at plainsight.no. The Free plan includes limited features (1 show, 10 cues). Paid plans unlock additional features such as cloud sync. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity on your account.

3. Subscription and payment

Paid subscriptions are purchased and billed on plainsight.no — not through the Apple App Store or Google Play. See our subscription terms for details on pricing, renewal, and cancellation.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for unlawful purposes.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or bypass technical restrictions.
• Share your account with unauthorised persons beyond what your plan allows.
• Disrupt or compromise the security of the service.

5. Intellectual property

CuePlayer, including its design, code, and branding, belongs to Plain Sight AS. You receive a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the app according to your plan. You retain ownership of audio files and show content you upload.

6. Your content

You are responsible for ensuring that audio files and other content used in CuePlayer do not infringe third-party rights. We do not claim ownership of your content, but you grant us the necessary licence to store and sync it when you use cloud sync.

7. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may update, change, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Critical security updates may be installed without prior notice.

8. Limitation of liability

CuePlayer is provided «as is». Plain Sight is not liable for indirect loss, lost revenue, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, unless otherwise required by mandatory Norwegian law. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the last 12 months.

9. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms. Subscription cancellation is governed by the subscription terms.

10. Privacy

Processing of personal data is described in ourprivacy policy.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes shall be resolved amicably where possible. Venue is Oslo District Court, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
